Summer Reading Club Near You!

Library staff will be visiting all Covington schools, Ludlow Elementary, Ft. Wright Elementary and several other sites. We'll also be at some Kenton County Parks events.  Children participating in the school visits are eligible to win a backpack for reading.

Since 1999, the Kenton County Public Library has been committed to bringing the library to children, youth and families in an outreach setting each summer to encourage reading as a way to combat “summer slide”, so that students are ready to reenter school in August on the same, if not improved level, from when the previous school year ended.
